Seguin Family Institute is a private, mental
health clinic that is located in Seguin, Texas. Seguin is located
approximately 36 miles east of San Antonio, Texas.
Seguin Family Institute provides mental health
assessments and counseling services to individuals and families.
Interns from various universities enjoy an approved internship experience
at Seguin Family Institute. Therapists and probation officers are
able to gain instruction, as well as continuing education units,
through many workshops, group training programs, and even home-study
courses the Seguin Family Institute offers. Seguin Family Institute
staff are often called upon by the courts to conduct comprehensive
sex offender evaluations, psychosocial assessments, and custody
evaluations. In addition, the clinic provides group therapy for
a wide array of issues, alcohol and substance abuse, and many other
personal growth issues. A large number of the clinic's clientele
is compromised of legally mandated sexual and/or physical violence
offenders who are treated weekly in structured group therapy sessions.
Seguin Family Institute's mission is to provide
the community with quality counseling, assessment, and instructional
services which are both affordable and convenient.
